WiggleWorks Worm Castings are the nutrient-rich waste product produced by earthworms as they digest organic matter. Worm castings are a natural and organic form of fertilizer that is produced through vermicomposting. This is the process where earthworms consume and decompose organic materials like dried leaves, shredded cardboard, used coffee grounds and barnyard waste as well as other organic material.

At WiggleWorks, we believe healthy soil is the heartbeat of every thriving garden. Nestled in Southern Missouri, our worm farm produces premium-quality worm castings to naturally enrich your soil and boost plant vitality.
Our worm castings come from European Nightcrawlers and Red Wigglers, known for producing rich, granular castings with high microbial activity. We raise them in climate-controlled conditions, using clean consistent carbon/nitrogen balanced bedding, pure Missouri Ozarks well water, oyster shell flour and high-quality worm chow.
We carefully maintain the worm beds to produce nutrient-rich castings, teeming with microbial life. Every handful of WiggleWorks Worm Castings helps improve soil structure, enhance moisture retention, and support long-lasting root health - all without synthetic fertilizers or harsh chemicals.
We screen the finished worm castings for purity. There is never any fillers or compost blends. The castings are always packaged fresh to preserve microbial life.
Whether you’re growing veggies, herbs, flowers, fruits or beautiful houseplants, WiggleWorks Worm Castings are your plant’s best friend. Sustainably harvested, sifted, gently packaged, and proudly produced with nature in mind. We’re not just feeding your plants, we’re feeding your soil. How to use worm castings:
Worm castings are incredibly versatile! Here are some common ways to use them:
Top Dressing: Sprinkle a thin layer (1/4 to 1/2 inch) around the base of established plants. Water thoroughly afterward.
Mixing into Soil: Blend 10-20% worm castings into your potting mix for containers or into garden beds when planting.
Seed Starting: Mix 1 part castings with 3 parts seed-starting mix for superior germination and seedling vigor.
Transplanting: Add a handful of castings to the bottom of the hole when transplanting seedlings or plants.
Compost Tea (Worm Tea): Steep castings in aerated water for 12-24 hours to create a liquid fertilizer that can be applied directly to plants or as a foliar spray. Use about 1 cup of castings per gallon of water.
Lawn care: Spread thinly over grass before rain or watering.
For best results, apply worm castings every 2-4 weeks during the active growing season. For established outdoor gardens, a monthly application is often sufficient. For potted plants, every 4-6 weeks works well.
Tips for Success:
A little goes a long way! While you can't "burn" plants with castings, consistent, smaller applications are more effective than one large dose.
Storage: Keep this pouch sealed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain microbial life. The castings should be a little damp so the microbes don’t dry out.
Odor: Quality worm castings have a pleasant, earthy smell – like fresh soil after rain!
